PURCHASING & SENDING
Are there any additional fees associated with sending the eGiftCard?
No. You will only be charged the face value of the eGiftCard. You will not be charged shipping or any other fees at any time. For US customers, a $1 service will be applied to each ACH purchase.
Can I change the value of an eGiftCard after I've paid for it?
Not at this time.
Can I transfer the value to another eGiftCard?
No, the funds on the eGiftCard you purchase are non-transferable.
What payment methods do you accept?
Canadian Customers

USA Customers
ACH is the payment method.
What is a credit card security code and why is it required?
To protect you from unauthorized transactions, we require your credit card's security code.
- MasterCard, VISA: The security code is the 3-digit number printed on the signature panel on the back of your card. It immediately follows the account number.
- American Express: The card security code (also referred to as the CID number) is printed above the imprinted card number on the front of the card (on either the left or right).
When is my credit card charged?
Your credit card is charged at the time of purchase, even if you select a future date for delivery of the eGiftCard. This purchase will appear on your credit/debit card statement as the business name of the merchant’s gift card you purchased.
Why was my credit card declined?
Your credit card may be declined for various reasons, including atypical activity, incorrectly entered information (the billing address you enter must exactly match the address your credit company has on file), or because you’ve reached your credit limit. You can call the credit card issuer to find out what happened. The number is usually on the back of the credit card.
My credit card shows that I was charged for two eGift Cards. I did make two transactions, but one was not successful, and I received just one eGiftCard.
Because the transaction was attempted, it may show as a pending transaction on your bank statement. Once your bank sees that it was unsuccessful, the transaction will be cleared. This can take a few business days. Your card is charged only if the transaction is successful.
Can I buy an eGiftCard for myself?
Yes. To do so, enter your own email address or phone number in the Recipient’s Email or Phone Number field during the purchase purchase process. Complete the transaction normally. When you receive your eGiftCard alert via email, follow the instructions in this message to retrieve and redeem your eGiftCard.
RECEIVING & REDEEMING
What does the recipient receive when I send an eGiftCard?
On the delivery date you choose, a message is sent to the recipient informing them of your gift, with a link to retrieve it online. The link in the email goes to a page showing the eGiftCard you created (the design you selected, with your recipient's name and your personalized message), its value and authentication code. This page also gives simple instructions for redeeming the eGiftCard.
When is the eGiftCard sent to the recipient?
The link to the eGiftCard is sent to the recipient on the date, time and via the delivery mode chosen during checkout. If you do not select a specific date and time, the eGiftCard link is sent on the same day as your purchase. Please note that the time zone in the system is CST.
What if the recipient didn’t receive the eGiftCard link or I have lost the link?
You can request that the eGiftCard be resent by contacting: egiftcardsupport@birchmount.com Please have the transaction code from the proof of purchase email ready.
What if I entered the wrong email address or phone number?
Please contact egiftcardsupport@birchmountnetwork.com if there was an error made during the purchasing process. Please have the transaction code from the proof of purchase email ready.
How do I redeem my eGiftCard?
To redeem your eGiftCard, you need to show the 9-digit authentication code from either your phone screen, or a printout of the card, to the gift card merchant. The merchant will then check the balance and redeem the gift card amount against your total purchase. If your gift card does not cover the total amount you will need to pay the difference with another form of payment.
How do I print the eGiftCard?
To print the eGiftCard, choose the Print Page option after you click the link to view the eGiftCard.
Where can I use my eGiftCard?
You can use your eGiftCard at the store location(s) of the specific brand noted on the eGiftCard.
When does the eGiftCard expire?
There is no expiry date for your eGiftCard.
Please note that promotional cards may have an expiry date. Clicking on the eGiftCard link will show the balance and expiration status.
How can find out the balance on my eGiftCard?
You will see the real-time balance displayed when you click on the eGiftCard link.
Can I reload my eGiftCard after I've spent the full value?
No, not at this time.

All personal and financial information is transmitted using the https protocol over a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), utilizing state of the art technology for consumer protection. Behind the scenes, your web browser is sending all personal and financial information over SSL. The eGiftCard purchase process is fully PCI compliant.
How do you prevent the email from getting lost as spam?
We adhere to all industry best practices to ensure successful delivery of the eGiftCard via email. Still, there is a chance that the email will be treated as spam, or the recipient didn't notice it in their email inbox. You will receive an email message confirming delivery of the eGiftCard..
How do I know the recipient received the eGiftCard I sent them?
You will receive an email confirming the purchase and the recipient's information and, if a future date was selected, it will also indicate the date and time the eGiftCard will be sent. The email includes a transaction ID that should be saved in case it needs to be referenced in the future.
What if I lose my eGiftCard?
Your eGiftCard has cash value and should be safeguarded as such. If you lose your printed eGiftCard, call 1-888-420-GIFT. If your eGiftCard has not yet been redeemed or has some remaining value, we can cancel the original and issue you a new eGiftCard for that value.
What if someone makes a copy of my printed eGiftCard?
Our technology inhibits fraud, but you must safeguard your eGiftCard for your own protection. If someone makes a copy of your eGiftCard and redeems it for the full amount, your copy will have no value. No matter how many copies are made, the value of the eGiftCard is tied to the Gift Card number. When that number is used, the value of the purchase is deducted from the eGiftCard. If you suspect that someone has copied or stolen your eGiftCard, call 1-888-420-GIFT. Any value that has not been used can be re-issued to you in a new eGiftCard.
